David & Nicole Binion are world renown worship leaders. They lead worship at Covenant Church in Carrollton, Texas, are called on to lead worship at various events around the country, and David is a prolific songwriter.
They formerly had a website, but it was antiquated and they had let it lapse. They were operating without any kind of digital presence other than generic gmail accounts and their individual social media accounts.
Scott attends the same church where David & Nicole lead worship, but it is a large church and he did not know them personally. One day he sent a handwritten note to them suggesting that they needed and website and we would love to help them with that project if they desired.
Weeks turned into months with no response from the Binions. One day Scott was at the church early helping to get things setup for a mid-week service. During rehearsal David walked off the stage and said “You’re the one who sent us the card about the website?” Scott replied “Yes!” David said “We need to talk,” and walked back on the stage to continue practice. That was the beginning of a great friendship and partnership.
We entered into discussion with David & Nicole and realized their digital dream was bigger than we could have imagined. So we broke it up into phases and begin to eat the proverbial elephant one bite at a time.
